High praise indeed for Hunts

Hunts, based in Kiddlington, Oxford has recently been awarded the Syndicut Marketing Excellence Award beating two other shortlisted companies and generally strong competition for the category.

The award comes as praise indeed when you sell yourselves as marketing services experts within a creative marketing company - to enable this you have to get your own culture spot on. Chief Executive, Timon Colegrove said, "To be praised like this for our own marketing is really something. To differentiate yourself from the competition is difficult, you may be lucky enough to have a unique product but most companies have to stand out in another way. For us it's all about us is the feel of the company, our people make our brand and the way we are with each other creates a happy environment which leaks out."

Hunts started life as a traditional printer but has completely reinvented itself by offering all types of litho and digital printing but now alongside mobile apps, websites and marketing portals - but fundamentally they still firmly believe that "our people are our best asset - we give them accountability alongside freedom" Colegrove added.

Dawn Reid, Regional Director for the SW Region added, "This is great news for the company as they have consciously spent time working hard on their culture and their working environment. They have this great environment. From their sheep and funky music in reception to their Print Café for meetings and team get togethers - it's all indicative of the feel of the company from the moment you enter the building."
