The Printing Charity offers financial help to print workers affected by the recent floods
The Printing Charity, a national charity for the printing, publishing, graphic arts and allied trades, is offering cash grants of up to £250 to help print workers and their families affected by the recent floods.
The financial help is available for people who work or have worked for three years in any organisation that produces a printed output, whatever their job. That includes printing, publishing, manufacturing or operating presses, driving, cleaning, advertising, photography, and graphic arts through to making ink and recycling paper.
Stephen Gilbert, The Printing Charity's Chief Executive, says: "The cash grants are not means-tested, nor are we restricting how people spend the money. The floods have disrupted people's lives and we want to help print workers and their families whose homes and possessions have been damaged by the floodwaters."
To apply, contact the Grants Team at The Printing Charity on 01293 542 820, email [email protected] or download an application form at www.theprintingcharity.org.uk
