Northern Ireland DETI Monthly Economic Update - February 2014
The latest results from the Northern Ireland Composite Index show private sector activity in Q3 2013 rose by 2.2% compared to the previous quarter and by 1.4% over the year. Over the quarter to Q3 2013 there was growth in all three private sectors, with an increase of 1.4% in the service sector, 3.8% in construction sector and 4.3% in the production sector; within production, manufacturing rose by 4.9% over the quarter.
