SUCCESS THROUGH HARD WORK AND INNOVATION

New BPIF member, DPZ in Camberley, is a great example of Innovation. Ali Buckman took the business on in 2011 and very quickly introduced change. No more in-house litho, (set up a strategic partner) and introduced modern technology. He diversified the business by bringing in specialist skills and pushing the boundaries, therefore introducing customers to a wider range of communication and marketing platforms and the business is now seen as a "go - to" company for support and advice.

One unique offering is with a partnership, TV in a card. This combines offering a product that combines print with, typically, a 7"- screen showing video content. This has proved a great ice-breaker and door opener. Clarks, Ferrari, Sunseeker and Bentley have seen the value in the product. Investment in an Oce Arizona flatbed allows them to print on flexible and rigid materials, opening up endless possibilities.

It is clear that DPZ has the ability to cross-market and sell all its services to existing and new clients. This year they have been recognised at The Print, Design and Marketing Awards. Winning 'Best Printed Marketing Material' and 'Best Entered Piece Overall'. This was a piece of their own marketing material, showing direct to substrate capability. A "Little Black Box" containing 25 different materials that can be printed on. Projection for 2013 - 40% growth.
