BPIF Finance makes first public appearance at Northprint

Murray Booker will be attending Northprint on behalf of BPIF Finance, the BPIF’s recently launched financial management service, offering wide ranging financial advice and analysis from banking, invoice discounting, asset finance, mergers and acquisitions and insolvency. The event is seen as a key opportunity to promote the service that aims to offer BPIF members exclusive access to a panel of financiers. Murray Booker, ex managing director of Close Print Finance is a key member of the BPIF Finance team bringing with him considerable industry experience. Murray comments: “All indications show that Northprint is going to be a busy event with visitors ready to spend some money. We want to make sure that BPIF members contemplating an investment have access to good quality, objective advice about the project’s viability as well a range of financial options to ensure the correct way to fund their investment.” Murray will be based on the BPIF Business Advice centre on stand C376 alongside BPIF Business associates who will be advising on a broad range of business issues. BPIF Deputy Chief Executive Cicely Brown says: “The Business Advice Centre at Northprint provides us with an opportunity to show-case the wide range of business support opportunities available to the industry from the BPIF. This new venture, BPIF Finance provides an additional string to our bow and one that we feel is desperately needed within the market.” On the stand will also be BPIF specialists in training and health and safety, as well as BPIF national technical adviser Peter Vincent who will be showcasing the BPIF’s new Print Technology Warehouse website. The BPIF will be sharing the stand with PrintYorkshire, a BPIF/Yorkshire Forward initiative which aims to increase regional collaboration and create greater regional strength in the printing industry in Yorkshire through practical advice and support on training and development, grants and business networking.
