S/NVQ Satisfaction Surveys

The Print Education & Training Forum (PETF) is the organisation responsible for the Occupational Standards that underpin the print and printed packaging suite of Scottish and National Vocational Qualifications (S/NVQs). In early 2005 the PETF will be undertaking a review of these Occupational Standards, and as a starting point will consult with those who use the S/NVQs to find out how satisfied they are. PETF have developed straightforward, one page survey forms aimed at candidates and employers who use the print S/NVQs. The aim of these are to uncover: -- If employers and candidates value the qualfication. -- If the qualifications reflect what candidates are doing in industry. -- If there are any specific issues with standards, assessment or delivery which need to be resolved. Training providers should contact [email protected] with comments. The closing date for the survey is 31st January 2005. The questionnaire responses will be followed up with interviews with a sample of employers and candidates. Issues highlighted in the consultation will feed into the PETFs standards development work, and the report will be available to any interested parties from April 2005.
