Johnson sets out plan for the industry

At the BPIF’s December National Council meeting, Michael Johnson, BPIF CEO, set out his goals for the BPIF and the industry over the next 15 years, “We have re-engineered the BPIF, and now it is time for us to turn our attentions to re-engineering the industry” he said. Johnson presented a mid-year report including a financial summary that sees the BPIF in the best position for 3 years. With his own house in order, Johnson now plans to turn his attention to the industry, setting himself some stiff goals for the coming years, such as markedly improving the average profitability of the UK printing industry by 2010.
