Epic Creative Print strive to be a cut above
Dorset based BPIF member, Epic Creative Print is aiming to raise its game in the packaging market with its latest investment. They have recently installed KAMA's top of the range ProCut 76 Foil Die Cutter which has the ability to deliver high quality short run work to add to their ongoing investment programme.
Mark Downey, MD said ‘We wanted to develop further our post press services to strengthen our range of enhancements. This will further improve the quality of product and service our client base would expect. As this machine was specifically earmarked for short run production, it fitted in nicely with our existing portfolio'.
From an operational perspective, the new kit has brought several practical benefits to Epic, it's stripping/blanking capabilities reducing pressure in hand assembly and guillotine areas as well as improving the quality of the die cutting. In addition Epic have been able to bring a number of projects in-house
Dawn Reid, Regional Director for the area added ‘Epic has been going since the early 1990's and continually looks to invest. This latest addition will assist their short run packaging work primarily for the cosmetic/food and creative services markets. It's great to see investment in the current climate'.
