Pitney Bowes Relay 8000 Inserter and Mailing Machine

This fast and reliable mailing and inserting machine is ideal for print companies, fulfilment houses or in-plants and post-rooms. It selects the number of sheets required from each tray, collates, folds, inserts into envelopes and then wet seals the gummed flaps down, ready to come out on the extended conveyor belt. It sits on a height adjustable trolley table and comes with all accessories. There are cameras fitted to read 2D barcodes for accuracy. The PC is not included and we have never used one. It is an option if you require workflow systems.

We purchased the machine brand new from Pitney Bowes nearly 3 years ago for a particular job that required security and fulfillment. Unfortunately, the job came to an end sooner than expected and so, the machine was only used for 5 months and produced less than 100,000 items. It has extra feed trays that are boxed up and brand new and is still a current model. The price is £22,000 + VAT.
