Ashfield Printing Ltd Bring a Touch of Colorado to Derby
Ashfield Printing Ltd eagerly awaits the delivery of Canon's revolutionary Océ Colorado printer at their Derby site. This revolutionary 64" wide-format printer has only just been released and Ashfield Printing will be one of the first commercial printers in the UK to install the new kit. Once in place the Océ Colorado will compliment Ashfield Printing's existing equipment ensuring they retain their market leading position within the large format print sector. The new Océ Colorado will enable the Derby based printing firm to keep up with increasing demands and to continue to offer customers top quality print delivered within tight timeframes.
Canon's Océ Colorado is said to include revolutionary, game changing technology. The printer uses special UVgel inks which instantly gel on contact with the media, the controlled manor and precision placement of these gel ink dots creates a top quality, vibrant end result. It is one of the fastest printers on the market boasting an impressive 1710 square feet per hour, and has a high level of automation.
Managing Director, Charles Henry travelled to Fespa specifically for Canons launch of the Océ Colorado and after seeing it in action he simply had to have one! ‘I was blown away with the quality of the print it produced and the speed at which it operated, we print a lot of display equipment and high end POS products so this press is right up our street.'
As a company Ashfield Printing are continuously investing in new technology as they strive to offer customers bigger and better printed products. The Océ Colorado will join other new machinery such as the Canon Imagepress C10000VP and the LS 6090 PRO Laser Engraver & Cutter. The Océ Colorado is due to be installed in August, and is already causing quite a stir amongst staff and customers.
