Regional Board meet to discuss Priorities for Print
The November regional board meeting was held at Precision Printing in Barking.

Steve Lee, Membership Development Manager
Bob Davies reported membership in the region had been encouraging in the last three months and that the region was now ahead of the membership income target. Steve Lee discussed the regional and national new member recruitment campaign and confirmed a healthy pipeline for the New Year in the south east. Top HR activities were, long term sickness, TUPE and larger scale redundancy issues.
Carys Davis asked the group to identify the key influencing areas up to the 2020 election. Both EU and domestic priorities were identified:
- BPIF should be the leader in more awareness of renewable energy
- Enforce payment terms
- Pre packs
- VAT
- Legislate against "no fee no win" companies.
- Business rates
The meeting was followed by a tour of Precision Printing.
