Introducing BPIF's Public Affairs Advisor Carys Davis
Carys Davis is a highly experienced Public Affairs Consultant and lecturer, and owner/director of The Other Place Ltd. Prior to setting up the company in 2016, she ran the Financial Conduct Authority's public affairs team, and cross-communications teams in the third sector, following roles in parliament as Policy Adviser and Researcher to Danny Alexander MP. Carys trained as a journalist and holds an MA in Human Rights. She was a Parliamentary Candidate in the 2010 General Election and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
BPIF Chief Executive Charles Jarrold commented "it's vital that, as an industry, we communicate our interests, strengths and concerns to policy decision makers.
