New Investment in Aberystwyth

New Investment in Aberystwyth

Cambrian Printers has now signed a five-year contract to use Agfa's Azura TU plate, amounting to half a million B1 plates through its two Avalon N8-60 platesetters in that time. Chairman Robert Read stated ‘The company seeks long term partnerships and we strongly believe that companies such as ours need to value their suppliers".

Cambrian Printers have a long history beginning in 1860, as the printer and publisher of the Cambrian News, a progressive Welsh weekly newspaper. This alongside in-house finishing and mailing makes them the printer of choice for a number of the world's top publishers of journals, books, magazines, catalogues and a wide range of commercial products.

Dawn Reid, South Wales Regional Director added ‘This investment is great for the area, we at the BPIF are keen to help wherever possible and are looking to support the area with further training and apprenticeships also, if anyone is interested, please get in touch with us'
