British Book Design and Production Awards to be presented by the much acclaimed John Lloyd

Brought to you by BPIF, Oxford Brookes University and The Publishers Association, the British Book Design and Production Awards will be held on Thursday 20 November 2014 at the prestigious Grange St Paul's Hotel.

We are delighted to announce the Awards will be presented by the man behind some of the most successful and well-loved TV and radio of the last three decades, John Lloyd.

Lloyd is the television producer responsible for, among other shows, To the Manor Born, The News Quiz, Not the Nine O’Clock News, Spitting Image, Blackadder and QI. His first major TV production was the satirical Not the Nine O'Clock News with Mel Smith and Griff Rhys Jones, Rowan Atkinson, and Pamela Stephenson. The show provided a platform for writers including Richard Curtis, Clive Anderson, David Renwick, and Andy Hamilton. John went on to produce Blackadder and Spitting Image, and created the panel show QI. He has also written or co-authored over 30 books, and is the driving force behind developing a new concept of education based on QI.

The Awards will be the event of the year for all those involved in the industry, bringing printers, designers and their clients together to celebrate the best of British book design and production work.
