The BPIF are serious about good payment practice
The BPIF is now registered to the PPC. As a signatory we agree to pay suppliers on time, within the original terms of the contract and without trying to change the payment terms later on. We also adhere to giving clear guidance to suppliers on payment procedures and well as providing an explanation if the invoice can’t be paid according to the agreed terms.
In addition, signatories agree to pay suppliers within a maximum of 60 days as well as to avoid any practices that adversely affect the supply chain. We encourage our members to sign up here
The Prompt Payment Code (PPC) is administered by the Chartered Institute of Credit Management, which covers prompt payment, as well as wider payment procedures. Compliance with the principles of the Code is monitored and enforced by the Prompt Payment Code Compliance Board.
