The South West Board is getting stronger

The South West Board under the current Chairmanship of Neil Oakley, from Larkbeare Services in Exeter, is getting stronger. One of Neil's objectives was to have the Board's membership being more equally spread across the region and the industry sectors. This objective is getting closer, but there are still some sectors which need representation. The commercial litho market space is generally well represented, but representation from the Book Printing Sector would be welcome, especially as book printing is strong in the South West Region. To have a labels business on the Board would also be important, such a mix provides a good balanced view on the world of print.

A South West news update was recently sent out asking for your comments and issues about the region, the print sector or the BPIF. Those comments would then be raised at the Board to help guide it to support the region or whether action should be taken. Please do give that some thought because the Board meets four times a year, so there is plenty of opportunity to get those niggles raised, if not now then in the future.
