The Executive Exchange has the potential to save members upto £10,000 on the cost of recruiting

The Executive Exchange has the potential to save members upto £10,000 on the cost of recruiting

The BPIF's Executive Exchange is designed to support and showcase executives who are unemployed or working their notice and looking for work; and for employers who are looking to recruit quality individuals to join their team.

It is easy for potential employers to scan candidates’ experience and qualifications, and equally simple for candidates to upload their CVs.

To view potential candidates, all you have to do is go to the home page of the BPIF website www.britishprint.com, click on Executive Exchange, enter your password, and you are on your way to accessing individuals who are currently available for permanent positions or consultancy assignments. The same process can be used by candidates to build an executive profile.

The Executive Exchange is completely free for BPIF members, and we hope that the service will become your first port of call when you have a vacancy or when you are looking for one.

We already have some great people looking for that ‘right fit’ role, but we would like your help in encouraging candidates to upload their CVs. If you know someone who is on the job market, please point them in the direction of the Executive Exchange. But before doing so, it might be a good idea to ask them if they have any restrictions in their termination contracts. In order to avoid being perceived as assisting poaching, we are able to include only individuals who are currently working out their notice or who have recently left employment.

In addition to matching people to jobs, we are offering access to a range of support services for those looking for work. The Executive Exchange Support Zone improves your knowledge and increases your opportunities to succeed in the Industry. The support includes the following:

CV Writing Techniques
Since your CV creates the first impression for a potential employer, it's really important that you give yourself the best possible chance in what are usually very competitive markets. This means that you must sell your previous experience and current skill set whilst ensuring that the layout, grammar and spelling are absolutely correct. You can find more tips on the website.

Interview Techniques
Interviewers will all have their own personal preference to how they run the interview process. An experienced interviewer will expect you to be a little nervous and will give you a few minutes to settle down, often asking if you would like a drink or how you travelled to the site, but don't rely on this. Again, you will find more tips on the website.

Workshops and events
Take advantage of the Events and Workshops to Network with other Executives from across the Industry, while improving your knowledge and increasing your skills.
