Inspiring our industry - entry now open for the BOSS Awards 2014!

The BOSS Awards has established itself as the industry event of the year, so what better place to show off your successes and celebrate alongside colleagues? The Awards recognise creativity, innovation and excellence within the OP industry and are a sought after addition to any trophy cabinet.

Due to popular demand, the awards will be returning to the ICC in Birmingham on 22 October for another fantastic evening of entertainment, networking and - of course - awards presentations.

Hosting the awards this year - and providing guests with a fantastic stand up comedy set - will be Alun Cochrane, star of Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow, 8 out of 10 cats and Mock the Week. The entertainment continues with music and a host of activities to make it a night to remember.

As a new addition for 2014, entry to the awards is absolutely free! With online application, the entry process couldn't be simpler so don't miss out on the opportunity to be regarded as a leader of our industry.

This year there are a total of 18 awards up for grabs, offering something for everyone. The same categories remain as last year, but with increased opportunity to win:

  • Catalogue of the Year - two awards for companies with turnovers above and below £5m
  • Dealer Excellence - two awards for companies with turnovers above and below £5m
  • Environment Award - one award for manufacturers, and another for resellers
  • Marketing Excellence - one award for manufacturers, and another for resellers
  • New Product of the Year - two awards for companies with turnovers above and below £10m
  • Initiative of the Year
  • Digital Marketing Campaign of the Year
  • Professional of the Year
  • Outstanding Achievement

Once again, an independent assessment will establish the most influential and valued brands for the Brand of the Year Awards in the following categories; Furniture, Technology, Facilities Management and Traditional Office Products.

Another new addition for 2014 is the opportunity to nominate companies you feel deserve to be recognised for their triumphs. Awards that are available for nomination are:

  • Dealer Excellence
  • Manufacturer Marketing Excellence
  • Reseller Marketing Excellence
  • New Product of the Year
  • Professional of the Year
  • Outstanding Achievement

To enter for an award, simply visit the BOSS Awards website, view the award criteria and complete the online application process. The deadline for entries is 27 June 2014. Alternatively, to nominate a company/person, visit the BOSS Awards website and download a nomination form. Nominations must be made by 30 May to allow the company to prepare the required information.

BOSS Members' Day

Stationers' Hall, London

The invitation only CEO Conference will take place in the morning with ex Olympic rower, Steve Turner, as guest speaker. Guest of Honour at the Chairman's Lunch, Geoff Betts of Stewart Superior, will be sharing his musical talents and entertaining anecdotes.
