BPIF member set to embark on a new Tesco POS Partnership

The SPS Group, a BPIF member from Dorset are set to embark on a new Tesco POS Partnership.

After working closely with Tesco for the last couple of years,  The SPS Group are pleased to have been awarded the Electrical Point of Sale contract,  estimated to be worth over £2million.

Key staff from The SPS Group are in place at Tesco and the project is successfully in the implementation stages. Steve Kirkby - UK & ROI Point of Sale & Publishing Buying Manager said, "After a full UK market Point of Sale tender process, Tesco felt that The SPS Group would be a very strong addition to our incumbent Partners. We have no doubt that The SPS Group will deliver the service and quality required to enable our marketing functions in delivering key in-store customer communications. We look forward to working closely with The SPS Group".

It is hoped that this partnership will continue to grow with the addition of POS projects for additional departments.

The Tesco Electrical Contract has enabled The SPS Group to continue to expand and increase service capacity. Recent expansion includes the 2013 recruitment drive, which saw leading talent in all areas including Business Development, Graphic Design and Marketing fields join The SPS Group, adding value to the Group offering and increasing the services available to clients. There has also been significant investment in new equipment.

Purchases include a Xerox Igen V2 150 Digital Press, a Semi-Automatic Blackline Mounting Machine, an HPFB 7600 Digital Press and a Konica C6000 Digital Press. Toby Martin - Managing Director at The SPS Group said, "We are really enjoying working in partnership with Tesco, there are already innovative and unusual ideas developing into great POS and retail marketing campaigns." 2014 is set to be a great year for The SPS Group and working with Tesco is a great testament to the talent and resource available as part of The SPS Group End to End solution, which includes the Clockworx Design Agency, Mauve Marketing Management Software, Print and POS design and the Logistics Division.
