BOSS/Comic Relief Partnership - Get Involved! |
The partnership between the BOSS Federation and Comic Relief began in 2011 with a scheme to deliver stationery and educational products to children in Africa who have no education and no prospect of escaping poverty. The scheme has proven to be a great success and last year we sent a container load of books, pens and educational products to South Sudan. We are appealing again for you to donate more products for this fantastic initiative! To get involved you can:
The Africa Educational Trust (AET) will ensure that items donated will be distributed to those children in dire poverty who have no hope of supporting themselves or their families without a proper education. Thanks to Spicers we have warehousing and distribution facilities at their Greenwich depot; and office2office have agreed to sponsor the container to Africa. Please book in a delivery slot with Spicers via email with Scott Watson at [email protected] For more information and delivery requirements please click here Please be sure to notify Liz Whyte at [email protected] if you have donated. As Malala Yousafzai said in her speech at the United Nations - 'One child, one teacher, one pen and one book can change the world. Education is the only solution. Education can change the world.' |
