Graduate Programme receives positive feedback
The South Eastern region has 48 learners from members companies on the Graduate Management Programme.
The foundation degree was launched in April 2013, with the latest workshop being held at the Double Tree Hotel in Cambridge "Changing World of Print and Media". The event was held jointly with the European Young Leaders Conference and was a wonderful opportunity to discuss current trends in our industry.
Chaired by Garth Ward from Print Business the two days were full of high profile speakers and workshops. A one day workshop was also held in London. Stephen Dawson, from F E Burman commented,"I found the day to be very engaging in getting everyone to think differently about our industry. Guy Browning from Smokehouse, was an extremely good speaker, very humorous and has a number of diverse concepts to get you thinking differently, the day also allowed many printing and media companies to converge and work together as one, rather than feeling as if they're sitting in a room full of competitors. Overall it was packed with good tips and input from all parties."
Employers are also embracing the new programme. Corinne Petit, HR Manager from CPI UK, has a number of employees on the programme, "This is what the industry needs, quality informative workshops, professionally delivered, stimulating interaction with the learners".
