Eastern Region Foundation degree students making excellent progress and grabbing the opportunity to excel.
13 students in full time jobs from directors to managers and key roles within their businesses are making great progress on the first Foundation degree launched by the BPIF In April this year.
The Regional workshops that accompany the learning are open to non foundation degree participants covering interesting and key topics for our sector. See the attached for further information on available workshops subject to numbers.
Alison Green who is one of the BPIF ‘s training coordinators & assessors says ‘ there are already some great success stories in terms of learning being transferred into the workplace. Our students and their sponsors within the business are really embracing the programme and some of their first assignments have been excellent. Interestingly a popular recommendation has been to utilise the Meredith Beblin team roles diagnostic tool with management teams to improve team performance . Belbin suggests that, by understanding your role within a particular team, you can develop your strengths and manage your weaknesses as a team member, and so improve how you contribute to the team. A simple, cost effective recommendation that adds so much value. ROI can easily be measured through improved outputs. We are now focusing on the Changing World of Print & Media with the first workshop dovetailing with the European Young Managers Conference in Cambridge on 3rd & 4th October. I will keep you posted!”
Creating ambition and an inspiring vision for the future is all part of the catalyst of change to progress the Print Service provider sector and its place in modern communications and BPIF training offers an array of options.
