The Future of the European Print Industry - In our own hands

The printing industry is approaching a crossroads with traditional technologies and markets declining and competition from other media. In 2010 a study published by Intergraf, the European trade association for the printing industry, entitled "Socially Responsible Restructuring in the Printing Industry" showed for example that the printing industries share of advertising spend declined between 2008 and 2010 by a third. This supports the need for change and restructuring with increased competition and declining markets.
