The South East region is asking for a member to join the above group who are actively involved influencing bodies whose policies and decisions affect the interests of our sector. Currently 12 companies from throughout the UK are represented and we are looking for someone from a South Eastern company to join the group.

Agenda's are full and varied, working with the CBI, Intergraf (European Print Association), All Party Parliament Print Group, Brussels, establishing The Priorities for Print yearly campaigns.

The group have been involved in many projects, written response to standard tobacco packaging, pre-packs, input into wide-reaching review of the UK's international competitiveness, improved capital allowance, ensuring the importance of print in local elections and Police Commissioners elections, influencing tender criteria in public procurement and securing business support funding for print. They were heavily involved in the BPIF bid to secure £1m of funding for the new Degree Level Graduate Training and Development Programme recently announced by the BPIF.

The group meets three times a year, in our London offices for round three hours each time. If you are passionate about this industry, its future and are prepared to sacrifice some time and join other like minded members please contact Bob Davies for further information.
