Silver medal for BPIF public affairs officer
BPIF public affairs officer Lizzy Hawkins last week won a silver medal in the World Championships of Savate en Assaut, or controlled contact French kickboxing, after only a year and a half practising the sport. The twelve-strong GB team travelled to Paris and returned with two silver medals and three bronze. She commented, “This just shows what you can achieve when you participate in a minority sport.” She hopes the experience will leave her even more prepared to fight for the interests of the UK printing industry.Intergraf Economic News (Paper Prices) - March 2024
