Hits soar as Jobs in Print.com makes national news

Traffic on the BPIF/Mercury Search and Selection Jobsinprint.com website has soared in the last month following a careers in print article in the Daily Mail on 16 September featuring the website. From 700 visitors in July, traffic almost doubled with over 1300 individuals visiting the site in September. “The website has been steadily growing in popularity since its launch in April, thanks to word of mouth and repeat custom, from users who appreciate the website’s usability and efficacy,” says Ruth Yarnit, BPIF Corporate Marketing Officer, “The service has proved especially popular amongst BPIF members, to whom the service is totally free of charge. But it also never hurts to get a mention in the national press!” 280,000 hits on the website in August jumped to over 450,000 last month following the article. Autumn is also a traditional time for job seeking and a popular time for advertising new posts – 87 new jobs were advertised on jobsinprint last month and 90 applications submitted.
