We want your opinion on a single UK supplier event for the office products industry

In November/December last year we talked to the heads of dealer groups and many of the key manufacturers in the UK about holding a single UK supplier event. As expected, the views were quite polarised with healthy debate on the advantages and disadvantages from both a manufacturer and a dealer/reseller perspective. Both sides did agree that if a single supplier event went ahead then it should be managed by the BOSS Federation.

As an industry we have been through major change during the last 25 years and the pace of change will only accelerate over the next 5 years. We have seen the decline of the traditional market and the growth of  E-commerce, Facilities Management, PMS and Amazon and the pressures are on all manufacturers and resellers to take cost and inefficiency out of the supply chain in order to compete and remain profitable.

At the BOSS Board Meeting in December we agreed to send out two questionnaires - one for manufacturers and one for resellers - to understand your opinions and your recommendations as to whether the industry should hold a single UK supplier event.

Please take a few minutes of your time to answer a few very important questions.

We value your opinions and the BOSS Board will be taking all views into account at the March Board meeting.

Manufacturers please access your survey HERE

Resellers please access your survey HERE

This
is your chance to shape the future of the office products industry.

Chief Executive - BOSS Federation
