BOSS E-News 10.10.13

I am delighted to report that following the success of recent networking events in East Anglia that BOSS has decided to enlarge the region to include London and the South East. The new region will be called BOSS South East Region. This will enable dealers and manufacturers who are based in London and the South East to participate in these regional networking events.

For your diary the next event planned is on 16th January at Stationers Hall London. The Guest speaker will be Phil Jones of Brother who will discuss the future of the workplace, the what, the where, and the how implications for our Industry and how we can get ahead of the curve.  Phil is a great advocate of social media and Brother is at the forefront of changing technology in the workplace. I strongly urge you to put this date in the diary and attend this great networking opportunity. For more details please contact Luke Chapman BOSS Regional Chair at [email protected]

I am also pleased to announce that the Heart of England have held two very successful events in the last month, a murder mystery evening  and a black tie dinner dance in Birmingham.  Both were very well attended with good support from both Vow and Spicers.

Forthcoming events are a North East Charity event in November and the BOSS Yorkshire Dinner Dance in February 2014. For more details please visit our website at www.bossfederation.co.uk.

All the BOSS regions are looking to strengthen their committees with new people, with new ideas for events and activities, and for regional support from the industry in attending the events and functions they lay on for the benefit of the Industry.

I want to thank all the BOSS Regional Chairs and committees for their hard work and dedication in arranging golf days, dinner dances, lunches and social evenings. They do a fantastic job for you and also raise money for the BOSS Benevolent fund and regional charities in the process.

The BOSS Regions exist to give BOSS members additional benefits at grass root level. I would like to encourage everyone engaged in the industry to participate in their regions, either as a member of the committee or by attending the regional events.
