Precision Proco Group receive their Seal of Excellence Certificates
Precision Proco Group received their Seal of Excellence Certificates following an extensive audit process covering Sunderland, Sheffield, Dagenham and Precision Climb (Gateshead). The new Wembley site will soon be starting the same process and working towards Seal of Excellence.
BPIF have been on the Health & Safety journey with Precision Proco now since 2017 and witnessed the hard work that all the individual teams have put in to achieve SOE.
Phil Ashcroft (BPIF H&S Adviser) said – “we can’t believe how far we have come and what has been achieved in such a short space of time, and we would like to thank Louise, Martin & Cameron for their help, hard work and friendship, throughout the journey”.
Darren Shepherd, BPIF Regional Director North said – “the management culture of Health & Safety across the Precision Proco sites speaks for itself and the audit processes were achieved with excellent scores.
We look forward to working closely with the Group to maintain this high level as the businesses develop and welcome onboard new colleagues”.
Andy Skarpellis, Chief Production Officer at Precision Proco Group said – “The team have done a fantastic job. I tasked the committee at each site with the target of achieving the seal of excellence as a group and they have excelled when we created the PPG family. I had to remind everyone that this was a marathon and not a sprint as it needed to be part of our culture and not just a certificate. Certificate don’t save lives, responsible people do. The BPIF seal of excellence is a higher level of safety for our staff than a ISO accreditation which is driven from board level down to every member of staff. We discuss H&S at every Board meeting, management meeting, daily stand up and departmentally at every site. It is a way of life.
The achievement is a credit to the great team we have with the support and guidance of the BPIF, they have excelled as they always do”.
