blink print starts the year with ISO 14001 and 9001 certifications, and optimism for 2022

blink print starts the year with ISO 14001 and 9001 certifications, and optimism for 2022

Printed visual communications specialist blink print has been awarded the ISO14001 and ISO 9001 certification to simultaneously underpin its quality and environmental credentials.

Despite the challenging trading conditions that the industry continues to face, due to the economic impact of the pandemic, blink’s managing director Esther Butterfield believes today’s announcement is another sign of ongoing investment within the company that will mean it is well-positioned to achieve targeted growth in 2022 – a year that will mark blink’s 20th anniversary. Recent investments have also included an Agfa Jeti Tauro, which was delivered in January, as well as new senior hires to bolster its sales and production teams.

“The road for our industry during the pandemic has been bumpy, to say the least. We’ve managed to successfully navigate the various challenges this year has thrown up and have become stronger as a result. This dual certification underlines the ambitious programme of investment that we have carried out over the last 12 months, and our belief within the company that the year ahead will be one of new opportunities and growth,” said Butterfield.

The certification was awarded to the Leicestershire-based firm by UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) accredited body TÜV UK.

“While many of the procedures were already in place, the auditing and certification process provided us with an opportunity to put every element of our business under microscopic scrutiny – sense-checking and street-testing our standards of service, competency, efficiency, quality and environmental standards that we have always prided ourselves on and which, for our clients, have become synonymous with the name blink,” said Butterfield.

The company provides direct-to-client printed visual communications for several leading retailers and brands, as well as white-label print services to several major UK retail display agencies.
