VMC 2021 – International panel – Europe & beyond...

We are thrilled to host a unique International panel on Day 2 of VMC 2021, where key leaders in the industry will comment from a global perspective. Join in to hear about how the last 18 months have affected the Print sector, how it’s adapted, and how the panellists see the future and the key role their organisations will play in it. The panel will be chaired by BPIF CEO, Charles Jarrold. 

The past 18 months have been unique, and our panellists will be sharing the contrasting perspectives between Europe and the US in addressing sustainability.

Beatrice Klose

As Secretary General of Intergraf, the European trade association representing the graphical sector in 18 countries, Beatrice has an expert knowledge of the printing industry and EU policies affecting the sector. Alongside leading Intergraf's EU advocacy for the graphical sector since 2003, Beatrice is also Secretary General of the World Print & Communication Forum. Since 2015, she additionally manages FTA Europe, the European association for flexographic printing.

Ford Bowers

Ford is CEO of PRINTING United Alliance, the most comprehensive member-based printing and graphic arts association in the United States. PRINTING United Alliance is the combined entity of Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA), Printing Industries of America (PIA), NAPCO Media, and Idealliance. Ford currently serves as CEO, where he continues to further the organisation's initiative of providing unparalleled education, events, government affairs, health and safety, leading publications and more; across all printing communities.

Sabine Geldermann

Sabine entered the international trade fair business in 1992. During her career she has been responsible for various international trade fairs with a dedicated focus on the strategic development and further internationalization. Next to drupa, the world leading trade fair for print technologies she is also in charge for the ongoing international expansion of related trade fairs in the drupa portfolio in Asia, and Germany.

The VMC is a linear conference taking place between 21- 23 September 2021, providing a hybrid programme of live-streamed and virtual events, with engaging content released throughout the 3 days. Access to all content and live sessions is free to join. 

The conference will bring a 'TV Guide' of content from international keynote speakers providing panel discussions, Q&A's and webinars. Intergraf welcomes the release of a study by our partner MLPS (Medical Leaflet = Patient Safety), a subgroup of the European Carton Manufacturers Association (ECMA) shedding light on the potential economic costs associated with the proposed use of Print on Demand (PoD) leaflets in the pharmaceutical legislation revision.
