New Gas Safe Register

Britain's gas installer registration scheme, currently operated by CORGI, has been replaced from 1 April 2009 by the new Gas Safe Register operated by Capita.

This will be the ONLY gas installer registration scheme approved by the HSE under the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998. If you have systems in place to check the competency of contractors servicing existing or installing new gas appliances up date your records with these new arrangements. Current gas installers etc. have been able to register under the new scheme since 19th January 2009.
