The British Book Design and Production Awards 2014 Shortlist

Brought to you by BPIF, Oxford Brookes University and The Publishers Association, the British Book Design and Production Awards remain the premier recognition event for British book design and production.

The shortlist below represents the selection of this year’s illustrious panel of judges: Aaron Archer, Business Development Director (Digital) at Pureprint Group; Paul Bailey, Graphic Designer at London College of Communications; Sarah Boris, Design Manager at Phaidon Press; Andrew Bromley, Senior International Marketing Manager at Ingram Content Group; and Marysa de Veer, Managing Director at Offer Bookbinding Ltd.

The judges were looking for good design, free of typographical errors. In the final rounds, particular emphasis will be given to excellent layout and standards of typography.

The Awards will be presented at a glittering event on Thursday 20 November 2014 at the prestigious Grange St Paul's Hotel.

The Awards will be the event of the year for all those involved in the industry, bringing printers, designers and their clients together to celebrate the best of British book design and production work. To be assured of a table, you should book soon.

Congratulations to everyone who made it onto the shortlist, and the best of luck for the next round.
