Limited Number of Free Delegate Places for BPIF Members at this years Govtoday Carbon Reduction Summit

Govtoday presents Delivering the Low Carbon Future, our Fourth Annual National Carbon Reduction Summit, which will be held on 27th November at The Brewery, The City of London.

Govtoday's ‘Securing the Future' series of events has examined the Government's Sustainable Development strategy across different community sectors, taking into account social, environmental and economic development, and how this interlinks with Government policy to reduce the UK's carbon emissions by 34 per cent by 2020, and 80 per cent by 2050.

Delivering the Low Carbon Future will provide analysis of the UK's overall progress on the low carbon agenda, focusing on the Government's ‘Carbon Plan - Delivering our Low Carbon Future', published in December 2011. The Plan sets out the strategy for achieving the emissions reductions committed to in the first four carbon budgets up to 2027.

‘Even in these tough times, moving to a low carbon economy is the right thing to do, for our economy, our society and the planet'
