Free Leeds Beckett University student consultancy projects

Free Leeds Beckett University student consultancy projects

Every year Leeds Beckett University partner hundreds of students from across their business and management courses with industry clients to deliver consultancy projects as part of their students' final year assessment. These consultancy projects are a perfect opportunity for you to develop a project or examine an issue you haven't had the time or resources to look at.
Their students will:
• work with you to identify your issue
• critically evaluate a range of solutions
• present you with a report of practical recommendations

Which consultancy project would be right for my business?

The undergraduate consultancy project runs from October to April and is taken by several hundred students from a wide range of disciplines (e.g. international business, marketing, human resource management) who form small teams which can undertake projects from a wide range of areas.
Postgraduate students specialise in their chosen subject and can bring a greater depth of knowledge on a particular topic. About thirty postgraduate students work in small groups to undertake their consultancy projects either from January to September or October to May.

What kinds of clients have students worked with? What kinds of projects do they undertake?
Leeds Beckett students have worked with a wide range of companies from small local businesses, such as Whippet Brewery and Love Rouge Bakery, to large national and multinational organisations including England Handball, Morrisons, IKEA, Marks & Spencer, and the Disney Corporation.
Recent projects include:
• Marketing analysis and plan for Waite Bedrooms (MBA)
• Strategy for improving the online impact of Dencoware Ltd (MBA)
• A feasibility study into the relocation of Satpal Ltd (Undergraduate)
• Strategic development plan for Simon on the Streets (Undergraduate)
