BPIF member, Clinical Print Finishers makes further investments for the future
Clinical Print Finishers - a specialist Leicester based member have recently invested in a B2 Horizon AFC 566FG folder from Intelligent Finishing Systems.
Alan Pickles, their Operations Director, said "We have been looking at the Horizon range of folding machines for some time now and have been monitoring the development of the machines. After a visit to the Horizon HQ in Hamburg Germany last year with some of the IFS team, I was very impressed with the capabilities of the folding machines. We subsequently put the AFC through some rigorous testing at the IFS showroom and immediately made the decision to purchase."
He continues: "Clinical needed a machine that was not specifically for miniature work as we already have in the region of 30 miniature machines in production. Whilst most of our work is small format, we do have several B2 customers for whom we produce commercial standard size work and the AFC would be ideal for this - but is also capable of producing small format work if required."
Dawn Reid, the BPIF Regional Director for the Midlands, added, "This company has over 60 print finishing machines and over 40 years' experience in the print finishing sector, they pride themselves on being at the cutting edge of technological development and have some of the best small format print finishing capabilities I've seen in the UK, this is a great addition to their capabilities."
Pickles concludes; "The experience of dealing with IFS, from initial enquiries and testing to purchase, installation and training, was very professional and attentive."
Clinical Print Finishers will be showcasing a wide range of their miniature finished products at PrintWeekLive! March 8 to 9, Wasps Arena, Coventry and IPEX, Birmingham NEC, and October 31 to November 3 - for further information on CPF please see: http://www.clinical-print.co.uk/
