BPIF welcome three new Board members
We are delighted to announce that Jacky Sidebottom-Every, Director, Glossop Cartons, James Buffoni, Commercial Director, Ryedale Group, U.K and Ian Wilton Managing Director, Oxuniprint will be joining the BPIF Board of Directors. All have held positions on BPIF Regional Boards helping to represent member's views in each region.
Jacky Sidebottom-Every has played a pivotal role in the growth of Glossop Cartons from a start-up in 1982 to a thriving industry leader; increasing turnover and profit and maintaining a strong and loyal customer base of household names. Through spearheading investment into pioneering new machines and processes, Jacky has helped to position the company as one of the UK's leading manufacturers of carton board packaging products, whilst also raising wider awareness of the creativity and innovations in the packaging industry today.
Over the past 12 years, James Buffoni has re-engineered the Ryedale Group from a manufacturing to a market driven business. As a result, its horticultural marketing and plant label manufacturing division, Hortipak, has become the UK market leader. Buffoni is passionate about people and the communications industry where he sees print playing a future key role in a wider integrated offering.
Ian Wilton has worked in the printing industry for nearly 30 years gaining a wealth of knowledge and experience. His initial experience began as a Print Minder in both Web and Sheet-Fed companies. This involvement at shop floor level gave Ian the expertise and insight to steadily progress from a Pre-Press, Print and Bindery Supervisor to a Shift Manager. Ian became an Operation's Director in 2008, which led to him being presented with the BPIF Personal Improvement Award.
Charles Jarrold, BPIF CEO, comments ''It is fantastic that we have been able to attract high calibre individuals with such a range of backgrounds, reflecting the diversity of our membership, and we look forward to their input over the coming months as we develop the BPIF''.
