New BPIF Member - Kingswood Inks & Coatings (UK) Ltd

The BPIF welcome into membership Kingswood Inks & Coatings (UK) Ltd.

Kingswood Inks & Coatings (UK) Ltd was formed by two print professionals who left senior positions and good careers with one of the biggest ink companies in the world - to set up a business based on a belief that there was a need for a truly independent and professional ink and consumables supplier that focused solely on its' customers.

In May 2009, they decided to go "back to basics" and set up a new company to do just that.

This belief has enabled Kingswood Inks & Coatings to grow their customer base consistently and transform Kingswood Inks & Coatings in to a thriving business during difficult economic times. The Kingswood "Colourcentre" in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, is steadily expanding as more lines are added to their already significant portfolio of printing products. Stocks are carefully managed to ensure that they have products at all times - to keep their customers' presses rolling.

Four years on, Kingswood Inks & Coatings are thriving in an industry that has been in what seems to have been a constant recession. It was obviously the right thing to do. They have gone from strength to strength, growing year-on-year with an ever growing portfolio of products and customers.

Kingswood now deals with a wide array of printing companies in various sectors of the industry ranging from commercial sheetfed to UV packaging, water-based flexo, UV flexo, corrugated packaging and now digital ink customers too.

The plan is to grow the business steadily during 2013. So far, they have secured some fantastic new business with prestigious printing companies who have installed the newest Komori Lithrone and Heidelberg XL ranges of printing presses.
