The BPIF moves London Office to ‘home of print’

The BPIF moves London Office to ‘home of print’

On 17 January 2017 the BPIF will be relocating from their London offices in Aldgate to a new space at St. Bride Foundation in Blackfriars.

St. Bride Foundation has been associated with the print and publishing trade since 1891 and still houses many of the old printing presses and extensive collections relating to printing, typography and graphic design. As the BPIF is the principal business support organisation for UK Print, printed packaging and graphic communication, this mutual love for all things print makes St. Bride the perfect location as the BPIF's new home.

BPIF Chief Executive, Charles Jarrold commented, "as a membership organisation with many of our members located in the South and East of the country it is extremely important for us to have a London base along with our offices in the midlands and the north. With the St. Bride Foundation's long running history with the print and publishing industry, there couldn't have been a better place for the BPIF to take up residence this coming January".

Paul Jessop, CEO St Bride Foundation added, "We are very pleased the BPIF are coming to St Bride. The London College of Printing (now LCC) started out as the St Bride School of Printing in 1894 and we have a rich history as custodians of London's printing heritage. It makes perfect sense to also be home to the UK's largest print trade association.

The BPIF will occupy the newly renovated Fleet and Albion rooms.
