Are your energy contracts coming up for renewal?

Traditionally many energy contracts come up for renewal in the Autumn, and it’s therefore time for companies to start looking for the best deals.

Unfortunately due to the complexities of the energy market it’s not as easy as simply getting quotes from a few suppliers and taking the best price. Wholesale prices vary from minute to minute so you are likely to be asked for a commitment before you buy.

Many brokers are also less than clear about the margins they are making, which is why the BPIF has teamed up Schneider Electric to make it easier for you.

Not only are they transparent about their charges, you can also be confident that you are buying from the largest player in the market who can use their buying power to get you the best prices available.

Many companies trust Schneider Electric with their renewal including:

- Hirst Kidd & Rennie Ltd (The Oldham evening chronicle)
- J Thomson Colour Printers
- Gavin Watson Printers
- Frip Finishers
- Sherwood Press
- Mirror Finish
- Ink Link
- The Lavenham Press Ltd

Schneider Electric recently undertook a survey which showed that the typical saving for a company with an annual spend of £211k was around 15% compared to their competitors. This was made up of a saving of £26,682 on the commodity price and £4,225 on the supplier margin, totalling £98,721 over the life of a contract. This saving was made during the live contract period when Schneider Electric constantly re-fixed to lower rates throughout the contract period, while keeping caps in place.

So if you want to be confident about getting a good price and having total transparency give Schneider a call well in advance of your contract renewal date, and let them do the hard work.

Latest news; Schneider Electric recently named large consultant of the year for the third year running and best advice two of those years. TELCA Awards 2015
