Stronger Together – Latcham Direct acquires Accent
Latcham Direct, based in Avon, Bristol, a leading provider of personalised digital and print solutions to customers throughout the UK, has acquired Accent, an on-demand digital print and creative solutions company also based in Bristol, as a key part of plans to continue to strengthen and expand its solutions offering.
Latcham has earned an enviable reputation within the industry delivering print production, mailing, secure document fulfilment and specialist digital communications to clients across the public services, utilities and energy, membership and financial services sectors as it approaches the milestone of its 10th year.
Latcham, led by Managing Director Mike Hughes, has pursued a programme of steady growth based on building credible expertise and safeguarding trusted client partnerships. Mike said: “We are delighted to welcome Accent to our high performing team and portfolio of solutions. Latcham has enormous opportunity ahead of it and our employees have been at the heart of our success, so we are excited to add the talent and experience of the Accent team. The convergence of digital printing and personalisation technology will allow Accent and Latcham to share some of the benefits of investments in digital printing technology, such as the Canon C850, Canon i300 and Ricoh IP5000”.
Retiring Accent owner and Managing Director Richard Binnington says he is “delighted that after almost 20 years of focused customer service and innovation, the Accent brand will continue to develop and grow. The combination of talents provided by Latcham and Accent will undoubtedly prove to be more than the sum of the parts and become a significant presence in the market.” Juergen May, Head of On-Demand Print Solutions commented “becoming part of Latcham will enable us to bring in new technologies, helping to ensure our customers have access to an increased range of services. And importantly, Latcham also has the same values as Accent, which place both employees and customers front and centre of all that we do, making this a great cultural fit too.”
The shared vision of Latcham and Accent to drive innovation underlines their strong commitment to the print sector and recognises the pivotal role that personalised and digital communication increasingly plays in achieving customer and client engagement. Both companies will draw on their combined decades of experience, to continue to push the boundaries and tailor unique solutions to deliver to the market.
