The Future of Food Packaging – Invest NI event in Northern Ireland:
This event aims to aid packaging and food manufacturers in preparing for changing customer, consumer and legal demands. Organised jointly by CAFRE and Invest NI, a selection of industry experts will outline changing consumer and retailer demands, an update on Plastics Pact 2025 and advise on how firms can prepare in an ever changing market.

Power of Print seminar – in London:
Now in its 9th year, the Power of Print seminar has established itself as a must-attend event. The seminar attracts 200 leaders from the print, paper, publishing, packaging and media industries. Hear from a diverse range of global experts, exploring the challenges, innovations and opportunities for print and paper in today’s multi-media world.

The 2019 Irish Print Awards are to be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Northwood, Dublin on 29th November 2019.

The datafile, first published in February 2023, has been updated with the latest available data - and additional content on factors exerting pressure on pay settlements in 2024.
Slight recovery of output and orders falls short of expectations in Q4 - confidence concerns mount in 2024

Performance in the UK's printing and printed packaging industry did improve in Q4, as far as output and orders are concerned. However, it didn't come close to what would historically be considered the seasonal norm, nor quite match the subdued expectations for Q4.
