Vacancy - Warehouse Operative - Print Finishing - Leeds
Facer printers are looking for evidence of exceptional ability from people that will settle for nothing less than excellence, individuals who are committed & perform with professionalism.
£8.65/hr subject to experience. Good opportunity for overtime paid at 1.5 times normal hourly rate.

YOUR ROLE:
You will be part of the Quality Control team & responsible for:
- Disassembling / stripping, checking & packing printed product
- Extremely high levels of quality control & checking print media
- Working at a consistently high speed
- Potential for some print finishing
- Working to internal IT systems & procedures
- Participating & contributing towards the continual improvement of production operations & wider company operations
- Working within health & safety guidelines
THE CANDIDATE:
- PRINT SECTOR EXPERIENCE HIGHLY DESIRABLE
- Extreme attention to detail & quality standards
- IT literate, able to adapt to & learn new systems
- Experience with print finishing machines beneficial
- Proactive contributor toward operational & team culture
- Able to work autonomously with minimum supervision
- High level of organisation & timekeeping skills
- Willingness to take on overtime
- Friendly & personable

Slight recovery of output and orders falls short of expectations in Q4 - confidence concerns mount in 2024

Performance in the UK's printing and printed packaging industry did improve in Q4, as far as output and orders are concerned. However, it didn't come close to what would historically be considered the seasonal norm, nor quite match the subdued expectations for Q4.
