Zenith Print Group adds to their investment portfolio
Zenith Print Group is upgrading its Zenith Media site based in Pontypool with the further addition of three Heidelberg Versafire machines on top of their long perfector purchase last year. This also follows on from their other major investment last year.
John Mooney, MD of the Zenith Print Group, said "We invested in these specific presses to ensure we could offer everything possible to our customers, printing from 60gsm up to 450gsm. With the fifth colour and long sheet option, our customers now have the option to print on demand, with amazing quality, and quick turnarounds."
The company's Digital Manager, Kelli-Louise Johnson said "This is a very exciting time for the Zenith Digital department, it gives us a huge scope to grow with the ability to take on short and much longer print runs for magazines, brochures, programmes and we can also run heavier stocks for low quantity packaging at competitive prices. The five-colour EV prints CMYK plus white, neons and an ‘invisible red' toner option which is clear and glossy in daylight but glows under UV light opening up the option to print security protected products such as tickets, vouchers and passes.
Dawn Reid, Regional Director for the area added, "Zenith are continually investing and I'm sure this latest investment for Zenith Media has already prompted an increase in enquiries with the division - they have already employed more staff within the digital department to support the increased capability which is also great news, especially in the current climate."

22 February 2024
Performance in the UK's printing and printed packaging industry did improve in Q4, as far as output and orders are concerned. However, it didn't come close to what would historically be considered the seasonal norm, nor quite match the subdued expectations for Q4.
