The Blackmore Group wins Sustainability Award

The Blackmore Group wins Sustainability Award

The Blackmore Group, incorporating Lamport Guilbert, founded in 1900 and based in Shaftsbury, Dorset, have been recognised at the recent Kodak Sonora Plate Green Leaf Awards.

The company came out on top of a number of other companies from around southern Europe in the Kodak Awards. The Awards, which celebrate printing industry partners who are leaders in adopting sustainable practices and in offering their customers eco-friendly options for their printing needs, are now in their sixth year.

David Bland, Blackmore's Sales and Marketing Director added, "This is really a continuation of the work we've done over the last 20 years to improve our environmental profile. We've won a number of awards in the past but to win this one against a lot of other companies from around the whole of southern Europe is quite something - it's a fantastic win."

Dawn Reid, BPIF Regional Director for the area added, "To be recognised for this award is great in itself, to come out top of a dozen other companies from around Europe is even better and great recognition for the ongoing work the company put in."
