Look to the future at BPIF Members' Day

BPIF Members' Day, held on the Wednesday 4 July at St Bride Foundation, is chance for those in the industry to gather together, network and be inspired. A must attend event for those in the print industry.

Conference
This year's morning conference led by Mark Palmer, Founder of Marverick Planet. Mark is one of those people who pivots. He's gone from Physics to Research to Advertising – before pivoting again to facilitate business and strategy change around the globe.

In the decade since he founded Maverick Planet he has worked with companies such as Bupa, Cadbury, ebay and Vodafone, and in 2017 Mark's projects covered 18 countries and a diverse set of challenges and industries.

Change and disruption to industry models are a given in any sector. Change has always happened. The difference is it now comes faster and things mutate.

Having successfully done so many different projects in different areas and also the odd failure, Mark has accumulated lessons, experiences and ideas of how to make successful change happen. The big secret is that change isn't the issue. The issue is the inertia and how you remove it.

The morning conference will be a lively and participative session on why print isn't the only industry in the midst of change. He will cover lessons on leadership and change in a challenging climate and what skills a 21st century business needs.

*cost to attend the conference is £75 + VAT

AGM
In the afternoon members will be provided with a review of the key achievements made by the BPIF over the past year and will have an opportunity to ask questions of CEO, Charles Jarrold, and President, Darren Coxon, Pensord.

All-Party Parliamentary Print Group Reception
Attendees* are then invited to join us afterwards on the Terrace at the House of Lords for the annual All-Party Parliamentary Print Group (APPPG) Reception, an excellent opportunity to network with MPs, Lords and Peers. Only a short distance from the St Bride Foundation, attendees can get to Westminster by either tube or bus; or for those who wish to take in the sights - a leisurely stroll along the Thames.

*due to popularity, places at the APPPG are limited to 2 per company unless paying to attend the morning conference
