Develop and invest in your workforce

Develop and invest in your workforce

According to Government figures, 43% of UK managers rate their own line manager as ineffective. It is therefore hardly surprising to learn that ineffective management is estimated to cost UK companies more than £19bn a year in lost working hours and is attributed to 56% of corporate failures. Perhaps one of the contributory factors for these figures is that only 1 in 5 managers 'have received management training' and are qualified.

BPIF Training's Level 5 Management Trailblazer Programme is aimed at established, new and aspiring middle managers seeking to develop and consolidate their leadership knowledge, skills and behaviours to get better results from their teams. Upon successful completion, the learner will achieve a Level 5 Diploma in Principles of Leadership and Management (equivalent to a Foundation Degree), as well as a Level 5 Trailblazer Certificate.

Modules include:
- Understanding the management role to improve management performance
- Managing Improvement
- Making a Financial Case
- Developing Critical Thinking
- Leading Innovation and Change
- Managing Own Continuing Professional Development
- Delegating Authority in the Workplace

The Level 5 Programme takes 2-3 years to complete, with workshops held at BPIF premises where candidates have the chance to share knowledge and best practice, as well as the opportunity to network with course mates. The programme includes expert speakers in areas such as HR, Legal, Finance & Lean Manufacturing and all candidates are fully supported by experienced and qualified BPIF tutors.

The next Level 5 Programme will begin in September 2018 with registration days taking place in May and June at the following locations:

BPIF Offices, Brighouse | 23 & 24 May 2018
BPIF Offices, London | 7 & 15 June 2018
BPIF Offices, Coventry | 21 & 22 June 2018
