Regional Roadshow
In 2018 we want to carry out a series of workshops to take our support services out across the region, to make them more accessible to a wider number of members.
In order to do this between the end of February/ early March we will be holding breakfast meetings from 8am to 10am, to allow members to take advantage of a whole range of services relevant to them. To ensure our members can make the most of this opportunity, we have taken the decision to hold these workshops in five different locations across the North East region, the following areas will be hosting an event:
Newcastle
North Yorkshire
West Yorkshire
East Yorkshire/Humberside
South Yorkshire
Roadshow Overview:
Human Resources – How to keep up to changes in legislation and ensure you are always using best practice procedures.
Health & Safety – Keep up to the mark and protect your employees from injury with some help from our HS&E Adviser, Phil Ashcroft.
Printing Outlook – How to interpret and use the data gathered. What are the current trends affecting the industry?
GDPR – With the General Data Protection Regulations coming into effect this May, are you aware of your responsibilities?
Waste – Are you managing your waste effectively?
We have limited the places on these workshops to two spaces per member company. This event will be free of charge and refreshments will be provided.

Slight recovery of output and orders falls short of expectations in Q4 - confidence concerns mount in 2024
22 February 2024
Performance in the UK's printing and printed packaging industry did improve in Q4, as far as output and orders are concerned. However, it didn't come close to what would historically be considered the seasonal norm, nor quite match the subdued expectations for Q4.
The BPIF is the printing industries champion. By becoming a member you join a diverse and influential community. We help you solve business problems, connect you to new customers and suppliers and make your voice heard in government.
