Greater Manchester - Carbon Reduction Grant

Greater Manchester SME's can access a grant of up to £12,500 towards the capital cost of installing energy saving measures in their business.

The grant offers a 50% contribution towards projects with a maximum £25,000 capital cost (nett VAT), maximum £12,500 grant.

Applicants must be an eligible Greater Manchester SME, therefore:

Must be in a Greater Manchester Local Authority
< 250 FTE's (Full time equivalent employees) i.e. 36 hrs/wk
< €50 million turnover, or balance sheet < €43 million
The carbon savings must relate to direct energy savings (i.e. scope 1 & 2 emissions).

All energy efficiency projects are eligible from LED lighting, to bespoke machinery and multiple applications can be made to a combined capital cost of £25,000.

Funding for the grant is issued under De Minimis and cannot be used to fund projects retrospectively.
