Potts Print (UK) Ltd awarded BPIF Seal of Business Excellence

Potts have been awarded the Environmental and Health & Safety Seals of Excellence from the British Print Industries Federation (BPIF). As Potts have already been awarded the HR Management Seal of Excellence, they have now achieved the highly coveted Seal of Business Excellence, an accolade which is currently held by only two other printing companies in the whole of the UK.

"To achieve both the Environmental and Health & Safety Seals of Excellence has been a concerted effort and achievement by everyone at Potts Print. It is something we are extremely proud of", states Paul Murphy, Head of Corporate Services.

Awarded in August, the Environmental and Health & Safety Seals of Excellence demonstrate Pott Print's expertise in Environmental and Health & Safety Management. Potts were audited by the BPIF in July 2017. As part of this audit the company had to provide evidence of Environmental and Health & Safety policies and procedures that met legal framework requirements. Potts demonstrated areas of policy and procedure which go far above and beyond the legal requirements, with initiatives such as Carbon Balancing and energy saving schemes, including the installation of four electric vehicle charging points.

"I am incredibly proud that we have been awarded the Seal of Business Excellence", states Carla Armstrong, Corporate Services & HR Director. "To be one of only three printing companies countrywide who have been awarded this, is a huge achievement".

Darren Shepherd, Regional Director - North, BPIF added, "The team at Potts Print have demonstrated their operational excellence by achieving the three Seal of Excellence awards within 6 months."
